Vito J. Abruzzino
Vito practices in multiple areas of law and has been advising clients since 2007. Based in the firm’s office in Salem, Ohio, he is a strong advocate for timely, decisive action in contested matters, with a pragmatic approach to complex legal issues.
A major in the U.S. Air Force Reserves Judge Advocate General (JAG) Corps, Vito also serves as director of the Eastern Ohio Military Affairs Commission (EOMAC), which leads community support for the Youngstown Air Reserve Station and Camp Ravenna Joint Military Training Center. Before joining HHM in 2013, Vito served as a military prosecutor, command legal advisor, and Special Assistant U.S. Attorney and was honored with several awards, including the Army Commendation Medal w/ two Oak Leaf Clusters and the Overseas Service Ribbon.
Vito serves on the boards of Salem Regional Medical Center and John F. Kennedy Catholic School in Warren and is a former board member of the Hope House Visitation Center in Youngstown and Salem Area Chamber of Commerce. His community service was recognized in 2014 and 2015 with awards from the Ohio State Bar Foundation and the Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley. He is a resident of Perry Township and an avid outdoorsman.
