Alan D. Wenger

Alan is and oil & gas lawyer and chair of HHM’s Oil & Gas and Business & Employment practice groups. He represents landowner associations and individual landowners in business transactions for land and mineral rights leasing, lease amendments, pipelines and similar matters. He has advised landowners in negotiations for agreements covering more than 250,000 acres of Ohio land for mineral rights development. Alan has led seminars on oil & gas law for lawyers and landowner and is frequently consulted by local and trade business media on energy matters.

A former member of the South Range Board of Education, Alan also advises school boards and local government bodies. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Eastern Mennonite College and a juris doctor from Case Western Reserve University. Largely because of his advocacy for mineral rights owners, Alan received the Mahoning County Bar Association Distinguished Service Award in 2013 and the Youngstown Warren Regional Chamber Spirit of the Chamber Award in 2015.
